India, Pakistan lead Dubai’s business surge with thousands of new companies
Iraq, Türkiye, and UK record highest growth rates in Dubai Chamber members

DUBAI: Indian businesses took the lead in Dubai’s growing investment landscape, with 16,623 new companies joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in 2024.
Pakistani firms followed closely, registering 8,179 new businesses. Egypt secured third place, with 5,302 Egyptian companies becoming members.
According to an analysis by Dubai Chamber of Commerce, a key entity under Dubai Chambers, the influx of foreign companies highlights Dubai’s increasing appeal as a global business hub.
Top growth rates
Iraq, Türkiye, and the United Kingdom recorded the highest growth among the top 10 nationalities of new foreign companies joining the chamber. Iraqi companies saw a 37.8 percent increase, with 1,718 new firms registered in 2024, up from 1,247 in 2023.
Turkish companies grew by 25.5 percent, with 1,314 new members, while UK businesses increased by 14.2 percent, reaching 2,588 registrations.
Rankings and market trends
Syria ranked fourth in new registrations with 2,764 companies, followed by the United Kingdom with 2,588 and Bangladesh in sixth place with 2,369. Iraq secured seventh place with 1,718 new businesses, while Jordan (1,474), China (1,473), and Türkiye (1,314) rounded out the top ten.
Sectoral breakdown
The trading and services sector dominated new registrations, accounting for 41.1 percent of new companies in 2024. The real estate, renting, and business services sector followed with 32.9 percent. Construction comprised 10.5 percent of new members, while transport, storage, and communication contributed 8.4 percent.
